Function and Aesthetics
Eclipse by Sakura Adachi is a set of fruit bowls which compose various patterns by stacking in different ways. The two bowls are not only stackable vertically as traditional bowls, but are also stackable horizontally by inserting into the slots, which creates stripe pattern inside the stacked bowl. Eclipse embodies combination of function and aesthetics in design.
